today, we wired some more. a few more people joined our team so that we can teach them and expedite the whole process. we also got some u-shaped tacks to tack all the wires in place. having these makes the process SO much easier. we had to go back to the wires we've run over the past two days to get those tacked in and situated, and we had to replace a few of them that were wrong. it was kind of annoying to have to go BACK to all these wires to tack them, when we could have just been tacking as we went. but we got everything situated and started on new wires. by the end of the afternoon, we had gotten most of our suite we've been working on wired, and we left a few people in there to finish it up. megan & i also taught elise, kim & amy how to wire, so that they can get started in the back of the house.
also today, some people from different local non-profit agencies came by to get a tour of the house. megan & i toured one group around for a bit, then we all went down the street to the community center for a luncheon + presentation about the project and different groups that have been involved. it was pretty cool to see some of the people who are involved behind-the-scenes. plus they had delicious brownies :)
