today we continued wiring the intercom system. it was quite the ordeal because we had to wire all the way from the matron suite to the mechanical room in the other half of the house. not only did we have to pull 200+ feet of wire through the walls and ceiling & such, but we had to drill all the holes & things involved too. so it took us like 4 hours to complete this one wire. needless to say, it was awful. however, we got it and 2 other wires done, so tomorrow we just have one more little guy to finish, then install everything in the box. and then i'm pretty positive we will be DONE WIRING. however, who knows for sure, because we've been saying this for about a week now.
also today, the inspectors came to inspect the wiring in the half of the house that is completed. and i never actually heard if we passed or failed, but hopefully we passed. and i'm sure i would have heard if we failed. so i suppose that's good news.
